RailPipe® Drainage Pipe Deep drainage in railway construction demands drainage pipes that can withstand extreme loads. The RailPipe drainage pipe, made from high-quality polypropylene with optimized profile geometry, is exceptionally robust and suitable for railway infrastructure drainage. It is the first composite pipe that meets all standards and requirements of Deutsche Bahn AG and holds the necessary manufacturer qualifications (HPQ) for use across all pressure zones within the railway track bed. RailPipe meets Deutsche Bahn's high standards for impact resistance and long-term flexural fatigue strength. The pipe’s circular shape and smooth interior surface ensure a hydraulically efficient cross-section, reducing maintenance needs. The pipe is available as partial drainage, full drainage, and multipurpose pipe, with a nominal stiffness of SN 16, crafted from polypropylene (PP) in a proven composite pipe design (corrugated exterior, smooth interior). It complies with DIN 4262-1 Type R2 as well as DIN 13476 and fulfills the specific requirements of DBS 918064 set by Deutsche Bahn AG. |
