SHV Protective Conduit PP-HM 32 (SDR17,6)
The SHV Protective Conduit PP-HM SN 32 (SDR17,6) is a specialized conduit system designed for underground cabling of high and extra-high voltage cables (220 kV to 550 kV). It is made of polypropylene with a high modulus (PP-HM) according to DIN EN 1852-1, an extremely durable material with excellent temperature resistance and mechanical strength. Due to its robust properties, the conduit is particularly suited for demanding installation conditions, whether in open or closed construction methods. The conduit features a smooth inner and outer surface, facilitating cable installation. Connection is achieved using a double socket coupling (DSM) with an insertion depth marking, ensuring a secure and easy assembly. A key advantage of the PP-HM material is its high temperature resistance, making it ideal for use at temperatures exceeding 70°C. Additionally, the conduit system is watertight up to 2.5 bar in accordance with ISO 13259. The standard color of the conduit is red (similar to RAL 3020).
