Geberit PE drainage system is suitable for a large number of areas of application in roof drainage, in industry, in trade or laboratories, for burial, in concrete or in bridge structures. They are made of the robust pipe material polyethylene with high density (PE-HD). Hot water up to 80 ° C, briefly and without mechanical stress even up to 100 ° C, does not attack the material. It is resistant to around 95% of all commercially available alkalis, acids and chemicals. The pipes and fittings also withstand vibrations, subsidence, impacts or brief pressures of up to 150 kPa (1.5 bar) DN 30-150 without breaking or permanent deformation. The material used, polyethylene, is environmentally friendly and completely recyclable. No toxic emissions are produced during processing or in the event of a fire. Geberit PE pipes are available in dimensions from DN 30 to DN 300 and with a wide range of fittings. Geberit PE pipes and fittings made of polyethylene meet the requirements of DIN EN 12056 in conjunction with DIN 1986-100, as well as DIN EN 752. The Geberit PE drainage system is for installation inside buildings in accordance with DIN 19535 and DIN EN 1519 and for underground pipes in accordance with DIN EN 12 666-1 approved. Geberit is adapting the designation of the pipe diameter to the requirements of the EN standards. In the past, the nominal diameter DN was used to denote the inner diameter of the pipes. According to the standard, the new nominal size DN approximates the outside diameter of the pipes and fittings.
